A challenging profession, Nursing is dedicated to the service of humanity. The ability to understand and soothe are as important to a nurse’s career as expertise in Nursing techniques and care. The College of Nursing was established in 2024, near New Delhi Public School, Vajpayee Layout, Sagara Road, Shimoga.

We focus on excellence in academic, clinical training, and extracurricular activities, helping learners evolve into truly global nursing professionals and citizens. The Sarji Institute of Nursing Sciences is headed by our Honourable Chairman, Dr. Dhananjaya Sarji.

To establish as an "Institute for Excellence" for nursing education at international standards through competency-based learning, quality clinical training, professional and personal development, and research with the application of advanced technology.

Philosophy

The Sarji Institute of Nursing Sciences believes that:

• The nursing courses should be planned around the nursing care needs of society as well as the educational needs and personal development of nursing students.
• The primary focus of the educational program is to prepare student nurses for professional nursing practice in all fields.
• The courses provide the educational base needed for continuing nursing education and to develop competency-based skills.
