STUDENT WELFARE COMMITTEE
The Student Welfare Committee of Sarji Institute of Nursing Sciences is the head of all student extra-curricular and co-curricular activities in the campus. It acts as an interface between the Institute’s administration and the students to sort out matters concerning student welfare. The Student Welfare Committee is responsible for developing, reviewing and evaluating plans and setting directions for student affairs in accordance with the vision, mission and strategic plan of the institute. Student welfare encompasses services that promote the physical, mental and social wellbeing of pupils and students.
Objectives
- Review the conditions that contribute to the academic success, personal development and well-being of students.
- Collect and share information relating to student welfare matters.
- Co-ordinate and communicate with teachers and students on matters concerning to the welfare of the students.
- Invite guest speakers on aspects of student welfare.
- Arranging for physical examination and vaccination.
- Arranging recreational and cultural activities in co-ordination with SNA
- It functions as a forum for the redressal of the student’s regularity & are accorded high priority.
