LIBRARY COMMITTEE

Library committee members of Sarji Institute of Nursing Sciences fully involve themselves in the planning and improvement of Library of the institution.

Objectives

• To promote the smooth access and utilization of books, journals, video cassette, Computer and digital facilities to staff and students.
• Prepare library schedule batch wise and displays on the notice board/ inform to the concerned class-coordinators
• Prepare a library budget based on admission rate.
• Provide a proposal to the Principal to purchase department/ subject wise text books and journals.
• Monitor students and staff utilization of library
• Collect the important articles specific to nursing profession and display on the notice board.
• Promotes and maintains a conducive environment in the library.
• Conducts stock verification once in a year.
